MADE IN USA
Crafted in a cheetah jacquard knit, the Helen top is both simple and bold. This everyday piece features a front neck zipper and novelty fringe along the neck and hem for extra flare.
The Helen Top is named after American author, educator, disability rights advocate, and political activist, Helen Keller. Helen attended Radcliffe College of Harvard University and became the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Helen campaigned for those with disabilities, for women's suffrage, labor rights, and world peace. Her efforts to improve treatment of the deaf and blind were influential in removing the disabled from asylums. She also prompted the organization of commissions for the blind in 30 states by 1937.
